DANCE IN DARKNESS

I only ever wanted to see you dance…

A blanket view for a passing glance,

Such solemn stare at the scaled advance,

Brings rushing cold to my empty hands,

So sweat will move as the plot expands.

“RUN,” We cried out!

“Move,” For it’s all we do;

The vacancy in the noise takes ahold of no-one but

YOU.

As we’re seeking pasture in the fading laughter and still forevermore, longing toward old depth in the new.

Is this the chance, we are not promised?

Would this become the curtain that does not close?

How are we bound and free within our minds?

How do I know and feel beyond that which is?

All that I wish to see

Is for the flowers that surround me

to bloom by daybreak.

At nights end, by noons passing.

Once before me,

Now recedes to vanish,

Like broken canvas,

Seeking damage,

Love and lost

As if she’s the vantage.

———

A void within, which shakes all things

That fall apart and then tie loose ends

Beginning still and then lose again

This cyclical nature’s the fall of Men

To deliver past from a current trend

A vacant state where high intends

To rid the mind of that which bends

And crowds a voice who seeks to mend

So drowned we faded to altered primer

A mystic state of that thought minor

And inconvenience still those finders

My passing train for these few climbers

Then “Fall” they holler,

———

A time won’t pass for this crawling squaller

Love can heal for this one non-caller

A phone which rang then fades to holler

Symbols of hope which were then even taller

Than the drinks that we ponder

For a breath of smoke that the man's mind wanders

To and from…

Light in joint then your a bum,

Though holding in the thought

That you can’t fake what’s in your lungs

Hung by all the fate that can feel you’re running from.

Anxious at the state but even movement carries on

Guided by this moment you stay strong to see the dawn

———

A victim to the self that goes ignored,

Stumbles on

A point

Escape

Or timely indecision

If ever was a crime

Then it’s the man who’s on a mission

Awake within the sands of time

That break the vision

The glass

The fear

A constant in regression

Await to take a step so long

For now it’s hardly written

Life will come, joy will blur

Then we’ll have prescriptions

Surrounded by those merry few of mine who taint the wisdom

Praying still that god can fill this mind of my partition’s

Eyes will ball, he will fall,

In the end we rise.

Akin to taking solitude

When none is justified…

———

Now bow we take to curtains

Not meadowed is this mist

Though running through this wall of gold

With hope we do not trip,

Wake or elevate

My world sits, not meditates

Soft spins not Escalades

plus

Hard notes no escapades

Fear

The forgotten

Cause In time this fruit will rotten

And holding still his love appeal

My brothers bought an option

———

One longing gaze, a purple haze.

While basking in some acid rain

Beyond which I can see the grey,

That loads so slow this timely phase.

To puncture lungs like cigars raised

Through ember’d wars of my good days

Hallowed on, Bespoke this fire,

Tantrum taints my rich desire

Holy choir.

Secret chord

A hope in vain to please the lord

Speak too soon and my minds ignored

While half the floor just begs for more.

End.

———

Remission,

You can’t fake a man with vision

Cell phones take the hollowed mind

Not in-ter-sect decisions

Hope to conquer, faded past the hunger

We grow on

I always seemed to wander

Lately knocking over pawns

Comfort on these pages

With some written by the spawn

Of all that lives within,

An slowly beacons for a song

———

So when do we transpire

Who can catch this fire

A living circuit

Breaks the nerve

Gets taken

For a choir

At the most, we serve the toast

Come lay this vacant spire

Down to rest, intrudes the best

One day

Three days

Wired

Hope

Like a single ember left in this universe.

A hollow star.

Or bright unimaginable field.

Drifting

———

Am I straying from the mark, where is it?

———

Lay me down to rest the best

Is spacious gracious mire

A calm and quiet peaceful world

This love is my desire.

But

Glasses clatter

People chatter

No voices break the din

Hoping still that grace will stay

To meet me in the end

———

Aging faces, wrinkled skin

With data shown in every grin

Helpless waiting, almost higher,

On fleeting ships with sinking criers,

Climb on board, the less is more

Hours pass from to coast to shore

Clouds will break then wake the core

So put that good beneath the floor

———

A man is forged by humbled hands

That lift one up so that he may dance

And step on toes he may well do

The learning curves of me with you.

I loved you now it stays forever

The dreams of thoughts that life gets better

Attacked the way I felt to get her

Out and in like stormy weather.

———

“Shut that door” as breeze lets in

Shouts my cold and shaking friend

Holding life between my hands

The cynical terrible type of dance.

It’s floated gone all from this rain

My greatest friend

My favorite name

The one who was the one who came

All while seeking someone to blame

And still,

I only ever wanted to see you dance…
